Used to raise the Total Alkanility level in a Hot Tub. Low Total Alkalinity causes spa water to be corrosive that may result in staining, etching of spa surfaces. Low Total Alkalinity may cause ph to fluctuate excessively when being adjusted.
Allows you to maintain the correct Total Alkalinity levels to extend the life of your hot tub or spa's internal components.
TIP: Don't add too much - reducing the Total Alkalinity can be tricky!
